Hallveig Kristín Eiríksdóttir is a theatre director and performance artist living and working in Reykjavík & Helsinki.

Her work reflects on post-humanity and decentering dominant narratives in various contexts, themes which she explores through theatre, performances and radio. Most of her work happens within collaboration and she is a founding member of multi-art group CGFC & performance group Losti Collective, with whom she is active. Other recent collaborators include dance duo Acquaintances, performance group Konserta, choreographer Sigga Soffía Níelsdóttir and composer Eygló Höskuldsdóttir.

2024 - Upcoming: “Förlorarna” - Director and co-author. Theatre performance. Åbo Svenska Teater - Big stage. Premiere September 19th 2024.

2023 - “Til hamingju (með að vera mannleg)” (e. Contratulations - you’re human) - Performer. Dance performance. Collaboration with choreographer - Sigga Soffía Níelsdóttir. Premiere on the National Theatre of Iceland’s Big Stage April 19th 2023.

2023 - “MegaWHAT” - Director. Circus performance with Hringleikur Circus Company. Premiere in Elliðárstöð, Reykjavík, August 26th 2023.

2022/23 - "Settled" - Co-author and performer. Installation/performance. Collaboration with Gústafsson as Acquaintances. Premiere at Miracles Festival in Bátovce, Slovakia July 2023.

2021/2023 - "Hunden bakom mannen" - Co-author and performer. Performance. Collaboration with Selma Reynisdóttir as Losti Collective. Premiere at Lókal Art Festival, Reykjavík 26th 2021.

2022 - "Fjöldasamkoman á Gjögri" - Co-writer and director. Radio drama broadcast on Rás 1 april 2022. Collaboration with Eygló Viborg & Icelandic National Broadcasting Service (RÚV).

2022 - “2x2 Rýmisgreind - Ævintýraferðir” - Installation/performance. Collaboration with Gústafsson as Acquaintances. Shown at INNSÆVI in Reyðarfjörður in July 2022 and Hamraborg Festival in Kópavogur in August 2022.

2021 – “Fuglabjargið" - Director. A new children’s opera by Birnir Jón Sigurðsson & Ingibjörg Ýr Skarpshéðinsdóttir. Premiere in Reykjavík City Theatre on January 9th 2021.

2021 – “Kartöflur: Flysjaðar" - Co-author and performer. Three part radio drama broadcast on Rás 1 with CGFC.

2020/21 - “Sýningin okkar" - Stage design. Performance in collaboration with Konserta theatre group. Shown at the National Theatre of Iceland 2021 & 2022.

2019 - 2020 – “KARTÖFLUR" Co-author and performer with CGFC. Premiere in Reykjavík City Theatre on October 25th 2019.

2019 – “Harlequin" - Stage design. Collaboration with Blaue Frau and ÖFA kollektivet. Premiere in Hängö Teaterträff june 2019.

2018 – “Brugðið til beggja vona" - Director. Graduation piece from Theatre and Performance making at Iceland Academy of Art. Performed in Tjarnarbíó May 2018.

2017 – “CGFC: HEADLINER” - Co-author and performer. Performance with CGFC group.

2016 – "STOP CGFC 2016" -Co-author and performer. Installation and performance with CGFC in LungA Art Festival -

2016 – ""I thought it was brilliant - a fantastic performance"-Henrik Vibskov" with CGFC in Kaktus, Akureyri and Molinn at Reykjavík Winter Lights Festival. Co-author and performer.

2015 – “Radio Activity” audience participation radio drama with CGFC at Platform Nord,  Kristianssand 2015 – Co-author and performer.

2020-ongoing: Co-founder and organizer of Tóma Rýmið Performance space in Reykjavík.
