Hallveig Kristín Eiríksdóttir is a theatre director and performance artist living and working in Reykjavík & Helsinki.

Themes that are recurring in her work and that she find eternally interesting and inspiring are history, break-ups, rejection, group dynamics, subaltern narratives and power play; queering common assumptions and seeking alternative ways to think about accepted truths and structures in society. Themes which she explores through theatre, performances and radio, both within institutional theatre and independently (and sometimes site-specifically). Most of her work happens within collaboration and she is a founding member of multi-art group CGFC & performance group Losti Collective, with whom she is active. Other recent collaborators include dance duo Acquaintances, performance group Konserta, choreographer Sigga Soffía Níelsdóttir and composer Eygló Höskuldsdóttir.
