Acquaintances // SETTLED // Performance for Miracles Festival in Bátovce, Slovakia 2021-2023

SETTLED is a continuous research in collaboration with Arnar Geir Gústafsson as the dance duo Acquaintances, premiering at Into the Miracels Art Festival in Slovakia July 2023. Alternative versions of their collaboration have performed at INNSÆVI Festival in Fjarðarbyggð, July 2022 and Hamraborg Festival in Kópavogur, August 2022.

Two non-human creatures, standing close to the brink of extinction, make an effort to comform to a human way of living.

Or, two diurnal human beings, standing close to the brink of existential crisis, make an effort to relax.

Keep an eye out, they are a rare sight.
